At Origins we look back to look forward. We look back to our beginning: The Khoisan, our First People, to tell a story of our region’s culture, cuisine and ingredients, to run a restaurant that’s fuelled by the joy of sharing fine, local food and drink.
Chefs Peter Tempelhoff and Grant Parker search out indigenous and endemic produce, to create menus that explore a history of flavour, in a modern, kitchen-focused restaurant. Shared plates with local beers, or three courses with terroir-driven wines, it doesn’t matter. At Origins we just want you to eat, drink, share, and explore the rich heritage of ingredients and food our beautiful region provides.
